The local edition of the big-selling Fuso Rosa bus could be in line for an update – the first in over a decade.

Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Japan has released the above image and said that – “This 2018 model introduces Rosa’s first new face since 1997”.

There was no word on any new equipment, or powertrain changes.

When will we see it in Australia? No official word as yet, we’ll keep you updated though.

The press release saying that the design language for the updated version of the up to 29-seat bus integrates the “Fuso black belt” design element that enhances the “FUSO” logo and signifies the brand new identity of the upcoming Mitsubishi Fuso vehicle.

“Furthermore, Rosa 2018 is the first Mitsubishi Fuso vehicle to feature optimized headlights with integrated daytime running lights”.

Fuso also confirming that “new style LED fog lights are also available on certain Rosa models”, while “new headlights add to the freshness and style of the front face”.

The Rosa‘s biggest rival – Toyota’s Coaster, recently welcomed a new-generation model and you can check out our video review of the Toyota bus here.
