One of 2018’s most anticipated new arrivals in now just a few weeks away from hitting the Aussie market – the all-new Hino 500 Series Standard Cab.
And, as seen above, we now have a better idea of what the new offering will actually look like.
While the interior of the new Hino offering was unveiled last month and shows a very different look and feel to the Standard Cab’s sibling, the 500 Series Wide Cab.
Ahead of the trucks local launch, Hino Australia Manager of Product Strategy, Daniel Petrovski, has told heavyvehicles.com.au that a huge amount of local testing has gone into the model.
“As part of our global commitment to Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR), we have undertaken years of development and planning on this new truck.
“This has included thousands of kilometres of testing in Australian conditions,”
“It is this testing that helps us differentiate ourselves in the competitive medium duty segment.”
“We have quietly been running the new model’s engine and driveline in local conditions, covering thousands of kilometres in a variety of operating conditions.”
Set to be offered in FC, FD and FE variants, we’ll bring you confirmed specs and other details when released by Hino Australia.
