Freightliner are now around six months into an exhaustive local testing regime for the new Freightliner Cascadia.
Set to replace the Argosy, in total more than 1.6 million kilometres of Australian testing is being carried out with Freightliner looking to make sure the Cascadia is calibrated correctly for our local conditions.
The testing is looking at a number of aspects including just how fuel efficient the trucks are, how often they are going to need to be serviced in our local conditions and calibrating and testing safety systems such as Lane Departure Warning for Aussie roads.
