South East Queensland now has a greater presence for three leading truck brands with Penske Commercial Vehicles teaming up with one of Toowoomba’s leading truck dealerships.

Pengelly Trucks and Trailers has been appointed as a Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck & Bus, and Dennis Eagle sales dealership.

The location previously only offered parts and service assistance to owners of those brands.

It also had a connection with Penske Power Systems as a Detroit Diesel outlet.

Coinciding with the 2018 Western Star Trucks Show n Shine being held next month in Toowoomba, Penske Commercial Vehicles boss, Kevin Dennis, welcomed the new truck sales location.

“We are confident that Pengelly will continue to provide great customer service with this increase in its responsibilities to include sales across Penske’s on-highway brands including Western Star, MAN, Dennis Eagle, and Detroit.

“Appointing Pengelly as a sales dealer is part of this focus to ensure customers continue to receive the best whole-of-lifecycle care of their assets.

“The Show n Shine event will also be an opportunity for Pengelly to promote its services to the Western Star faithful when they gather in Toowoomba in November.”

While Scott Pengelly, managing director of Pengelly Trucks and Trailers, tells us he’s looking forward to providing new customers with excellent customer service.

“Our appointment as a full selling dealership will allow us to better represent the Penske stable and ultimately drive an increased presence of Western Star and MAN trucks on the roads within our region.

“Together with Penske, we are striving for an exceptional level of customer service and are very excited about this opportunity moving forward.”

Pengelly Trucks and Trailers’ showroom is located at 74 Carrington Road Toowoomba.
