The famed diesel engine manufacturer telling us the new tech provides customers with full visibility of filter and oil life through the use of intelligent sensing and advanced data analytics.

The system uses the sensors, along with a control module, and telematics services to collect and communicate filter and oil life information to owners, operators, and fleet managers in real time.

Amy Davis, general manager of Cummins Filtration, tells us the ability to monitor filter performance and condition allows for tailored service intervals based on what the engine requires.

“FleetguardFit allows customers to precisely understand the condition of filters and oil based on real-world usage, which is a significant improvement over the current and conventional maintenance schedules that are based only on typical duty cycles,”

“By knowing exactly what is occurring, customers can use the equipment more efficiently, reduce maintenance costs and ultimately enhance their bottom line.”
