Iveco has just announced that it has entered a partnership with the transport operator for the supply of up to 200 CNG-powered buses between 2017 and 2021.

The deal will see the Iveco Urbanway Natural Power buses (as seen above) equipped to run on compressed natural gas and biomethane operating in the French capital.

RATP say they chose CNG power for its new buses due to both the environmental advantages and lower running costs.

The operator saying the Natural Power technology offers improved air quality, low noise levels and a neutral carbon footprint.
