Volvo has done a fantastic job with their ongoing support of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) Safety Truck, now comes news that a very special prime mover will be up front of the traveling exhibition next year.
And not just any Volvo prime mover, the 60,000th Volvo truck produced in Australia.

The new FH Series was handed over to the ATA at Volvo HQ in Wacol today.
ATA CEO Ben Maguire thanked Volvo for their ongoing support of the road safety initiative
“Every year, more than 30,000 people go through the Safety Truck, some with the opportunity to sit in the cab of the prime mover.
“Our visitors find out why car drivers should never try to overtake a turning truck, why you should never cut in front of a truck and the location of a truck’s blind spots.
“The ATA is providing 16-25-year-old car drivers and future car drivers with the information they need to stay safe.”
Also supporting the ATA Safety Truck again in 2018 will be BP and NTI.
“The Volvo FH has a host of safety features, but these technologies can only go so far. Other road users must understand how trucks perform – and that’s the mission of the Safety Truck.” – Volvo VP, Mitch Peden
