Why did they commit to the still not in production vehicle? They believe the electric truck will help meet them meet a company-wide strategy of employing cutting-edge technology and reducing environmental impact.
They also believe the Tesla Truck will be more efficient to run.
“At Anheuser-Busch, we are constantly seeking new ways to make our supply chain more sustainable, efficient, and innovative,” said James Sembrot, senior director of Logistics Strategy.
“This investment in Tesla semi-trucks helps us achieve these goals while improving road safety and lowering our environmental impact.”
“We can’t wait to get these trucks on the road.”
The first U.S. customer deliveries for the new Tesla vehicle are expected to occur in 2019.
