Reliability is a major factor in happy truck ownership and the owner of a Mercedes-Benz Actros says he sleeps well at night knowing his trucks are always up for the job.

Mercedes-Benz Actros proves reliable for WA Sand and HaulageWA Sand and Haulage owner Tyson Inceoz says the strength and reliability of the Actros was highlighted recently when one of his fleet was used on assignment at a mining project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The Perth-based company operates a fleet of 37 trucks, including 25 Mercedes-Benz Actros.

“Every day I know the Mercedes-Benz trucks won’t break down, so I sleep very well,”

“The is a reliable truck off road, the others on site fall to pieces.”

Interestingly, Tyson says some people were sceptical about the Actros when the business first added them to the fleet.

“Everybody laughed at us, “You come here with a Mercedes?” they said, but it didn’t miss a beat,”

“Our truck was working every day and all the others were breaking down. The mine manager wanted to know how come our truck doesn’t break down.”

It sounds like the WA Sand and Haulage fleet is likely to welcome more Mercedes-Benz product in the future.
