Isuzu unveils replacement engine option

Reconditioned engines available

When a truck engine has done its work and is getting tired, often it’s just a better idea to replace it, rather than continue to try and overhaul it.

Now Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has a range of remanufactured engines available as replacements for some of its most popular models.

All are now available through the Genuine Isuzu Reman Truck Engine Program.

The engines are put together at Isuzu Japan’s engine plant and feature only genuine Isuzu parts and components.

IAL National Parts Manager, John Plunkett, tells us owners will save time and money by simply swapping out their engine to an as-new one.

“It’s a quality-assured, cost effective and time sensitive way to get you back on the road,”

“And it’s a service that comes with a reputation for expertise that others cannot match.”

The older engines are shipped back to Isuzu in Japan, disassembled, inspected and remanufactured.

New components added back include the turbocharger, water pump, fuel injectors, piston pins, and valve springs/seats.

The Genuine Isuzu Reman truck engines are covered by IAL’s 12 month, nation-wide, unlimited kilometre warranty.
